Together, let’s build a playground for the children of Tor Bella Monaca

The socio-educational project My hoome, our home takes care of children from first grade to high school, so, who takes care of the little ones? In Tor Bella Monaca there is a space dedicated to boys and girls aged 3 to 6 where, during the day, they can play in peace, do educational activities, be with peers and have a hot meal.

This space for the little ones, “Il Germoglio”, is cared for by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Giovanna Antida who have been in this neighborhood on the outskirts of Rome since the late 1980s.

Outside this space, there is also a beautiful garden for playing on the hottest days; a truly precious green space. When we spent time getting to know the project more closely this summer, we found it worn out by time.

We immediately understood how important it is for these children to have a beautiful and functional space. For this reason we want to commit ourselves to create a new playground for younger children in Tor Bella Monaca in the coming months.
