Visiting Tor Bella Monaca

A few weeks ago we went to Tor Bella Monaca, one of the most complex neighborhoods in Rome.

We visited "My home, our home", the socio-educational project that the Valter Baldaccini Foundation has chosen to help this year by supporting the work of Monica, one of center’s two educators.

"My home, our home" is a sanctuary of hope for many children and young people aged 6 to 18 who, otherwise, would turn to crime or drop out of school. The Center is a real home where you study, play, engage in sports and learn to relate to your peers and adults, who are too often absent in the lives of these children. In all this, the educator Monica performs a fundamental task. Together with her, every day the voluntary association Vides Mic Mag TBM onlus, the Parish of Santa Maria Madre del Redentore and the Salesian sisters Daughters of Mary Help of Christians so dear to Valter Baldaccini, take care of this group of children and adolescents, making them feel loved, accepted and supported in a peaceful atmosphere.

Give the children and young people of Tor Bella Monaca the real opportunity for a better future. Support "My home, our home" with a small gesture. Donate today.
