“A Goal for Valter” 2026: the sixth edition of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation football tournament

The sixth edition of the “A Goal for Valter” football tournament took place on Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4, 2026, at Spoletini Stadium in Cannara. The event was organized by ASD Cannara in collaboration with UMBRAGROUP and the Valter Baldaccini Foundation.

The Under-15 Tournament: Respect, Friendship and Fun

The first day of “A Goal for Valter” was dedicated to young players. The Under-15 teams from ASD Cannara, ASD Ducato Calcio, AC Foligno 1928 and SSD Vivi Altotevere Sansepolcro took to the field, honoring the values that Valter Baldaccini always believed in: sport based on respect, friendship and enjoyment.

The winners of the 2026 tournament were the young players of ASD Cannara, following a hard-fought final against Foligno. Congratulations to the winning team, and thanks to all the players who, supported by their families, took part in “A Goal for Valter” with passion and enthusiasm.

The Debut of the Amici della Fondazione Valter Baldaccini Football Team

The major new feature of the sixth edition of “A Goal for Valter” was the introduction of a three-team tournament involving UMBRAGROUP, ASD Cannara Veterans, and the Amici della Fondazione Valter Baldaccini, making their official debut as a football team.

The Amici della Fondazione Valter Baldaccini team was made up of employees from several "Aziende Giuste" that support the social projects of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation. It was a debut to remember: our team won the triangular tournament trophy.

A special thank you goes to all the players who took part in the tournament and demonstrated outstanding team spirit throughout the event.
