The Foundation’s Mission

We restore autonomy and dignity to people facing the greatest difficulties by supporting families, strengthening educational pathways, and developing job placement projects, drawing inspiration from the legacy of Valter Baldaccini as a human and entrepreneurial role model. 

We work with carefully selected local partners to listen to and respond to the real needs of communities, and with a Scientific Committee to ensure the quality of our projects.

Through the creation of networks involving organizations, institutions, and companies, we responsibly implement initiatives capable of generating a tangible impact on people, in Italy and around the world.

The Valter Baldaccini Foundation was established on May 4, 2015, at the initiative of the Baldaccini family, one year after the passing of Valter Baldaccini, a man of deep faith and an enlightened entrepreneur who, over fifty years ago, founded UMBRAGROUP, a multinational company and a leader in the industrial and aerospace sectors. The Foundation is headquartered in Foligno, Umbria, Italy.
