This Christmas light up the lives of Giada her son Mattia

Mattia is just one month old. He lives in a small village near Foligno, in Umbria, with his mother Giada and father Elio. Elio is often away for work and both parents' families live far away. Despite the efforts of friends and family to offer support through calls and messages, it is often not enough.

Giada, who has a complex family history, spends most of her days at home alone with little Mattia. She feels vulnerable, inadequate, and insecure, and in this delicate moment she needs tangible support. Even small, daily gestures would help. Despite her difficulties, Giada is a resilient woman and capable of recognizing her own needs and asking for help.

She sought the support of the local consultancy professionals, which, in collaboration with the Valter Baldaccini Foundation and the educators of the La Tenda cooperative, realize the "With the families" project, dedicated to the fragile and vulnerable families of our community.

Only thanks to a lucky star will mother Giada, father Elio and little Mattia be able to become part of the project. They will be followed by our educators who will go to their homes every week to restore security to Giada, support Elio and guarantee Mattia the best possible start, because what happens in the first thousand days of a boy or girl's life makes a profound impact in determining the person they will become in the future.
