The book of Valter Baldaccini speeches will be presented at the Cannara Onion Festival
The Cannara Onion Festival Authority will present the book“Valter Baldaccini: an enlightened entrepreneur serving the common good” as part of the events that will be held during the 2024 edition of the Onion Festival. This is organized in collaboration with our Foundation and with the patronage of the Municipality of Cannara,
The publication, published by FrancoAngeli and available only in Italian, collects the writings and speeches of Valter Baldaccini, selected and transcribed by the Foundation with the aim of preserving his thoughts and actions and spreading his example of life.
The presentation is set for Saturday September 14th, at 5:30 pm, at the Ettore Thesorieri Theatre in Cannara, in Piazza Corte Vecchia 23. Speakers will include:
- Fabrizio Gareggia, mayor of Cannara
- Roberto Damaschi, President of the Onion Festival
- Beatrice Baldaccini, President of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation
- Donatella Porzi, member of the Scientific Committee of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation and Councilor of the Umbria Region
- Reno Ortolani, President of the Board of Directors of UMBRAGROUP
The meeting will be moderated by Paola Pompei, teacher, and journalist.
We are truly happy to have the precious opportunity to talk about this book and Valter Baldaccini in his hometown, a place to which he has always been deeply attached and which has also been publicly grateful to him, with the dedication of the central square and the recent naming of the municipal stadium.
