The Cannara stadium named after Valter Baldaccini

In addition to being a man deeply tied to his hometown, Valter Baldaccini was a great football fan. He always played for the ASD Cannara team, first as a stopper and then as a manager. He always worked to provide his community with a space where teams could play.

Valter was very important to football in Cannara, so the city’s initiative to dedicate the stadium to Valter Baldaccini takes on a deeper meaning as this is the tenth anniversary of his passage into eternal life.

The naming was held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the opening ceremony of the International Football Tournament organized by UMBRAGROUP, the company that Valter Baldaccini founded over fifty years ago. This tournament is dedicated to respect and fun and eight teams competed, among which were historic customers, old glories of the Cannara team, Umbragroup companies and a delegation from the Umbria aerospace cluster.

The day was truly emotional and full of memorable moments.
