Concrete help for the guests and staff of the Seraphic of Assisi
Several times we have told you about the red thread that binds us to the Seraphic of Assisi, a reality that takes care of children with very serious disabilities. Valter Baldaccini held this local and wonderful organization close to his heart and for some years he was part of its Board of Directors.
Since we established the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, we have always walked alongside the Seraphic, to help children and young adults with physical, mental and sensory disabilities, with different projects:
- the construction of the Snoezelen multisensory room;
- the scientific research of Dr. Chiara Bedetti on the benefits of Mozart's music for people suffering from epilepsy;
- art therapy and new technology workshops, to understand the benefits to people with autism through the use of art applied with technology.
Even at the Seraphic they were not easy months, for its guests the simple gesture of wearing a mask or keeping a safe distance is impossible. For this reason, continuous swabs are necessary, both for the children and for the operators, to guarantee protection and keep the situation constantly monitored.
Given the complex conditions, this year we have chosen to support Seraphic not with a new design, but with concrete support precisely for masks, gowns, shoes, disinfectant material and gloves, essential to guarantee the safety of guests, health personnel and families.
In this emergency situation, we certainly could not ignore these issues.
