Valter Baldaccini Memorial

On Tuesday September 25th, SIR Safety Umbra Volley Perugia dedicated a friendly match against Emma Villas Siena to Valter Baldaccini and to the Foundation named after him.

The first Valter Baldaccini Memorial, won by the Perugia team, was a wonderful opportunity to have fun, be together, and support those in difficulty. The € 3.531 collected that evening were allocated to theFamily and Work projectthat we have been promoting together with the Diocesan Caritas of Foligno since last year.

Thanks to the generosity of all the people who came to cheer  at Pala Barton in Perugia, these donations will become job grants for families in this area who are experiencing difficulty, like Antonio, who had a truly incredible life, but thanks to a job exchange, he found dignity and hope (read his story here).
