UMBRAGROUP employees donate two work grants

During the 2022 Christmas celebrations organized by UMBRAGROUP at the Italian headquarters in Foligno, Italy, the company invited workers and pensioners to participate in the Christmas Party by contributing a small donation to the solidarity projects of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation. It did so again in 2023. 

All these gestures of solidarity have led to the collection of a significant contribution of € 6,400.00 which will be entirely allocated to the "Family and Work" project with the aim of creating work grants to help people in difficulty.

Born in 2017 in collaboration with the Diocesan Caritas of Foligno, this socio-work inclusion project has already allowed 31 people to access a temporary work opportunity, which in some cases has transformed into an employment contract. This made it possible to restore dignity to those who had lost it, reflecting the immense value of work, one of the themes that was closest to Valter Baldaccini's heart.

Also, this year thanks to this important donation, the project will grow and, in collaboration with the Regional Delegation of Caritas Umbria, will extend throughout the Umbria region, aiming to offer increasingly effective responses to those who find themselves in a situation of vulnerability because they are unemployed.
