A new issue of "Africa's memories"

A few days ago the new issue of "Africa's memories" arrived at the Foundation, the column edited by Joab Omoto, one of our contacts for the Valter Baldaccini Foundation’s socio-educational and humanitarian projects of the in Africa.

In particular, with Joab Omoto we operate in Kenya with two important projects:

• the long-distance support project that every year allows 40 boys and girls to have access to education; with some of them we started from primary school up to university, as happened to Mary;
• the project dedicated to the mothers of Mathare, very young women. Most are still minors who live in a condition of extreme poverty and are forced into prostitution just so they can eat one hot meal per day.

In these new pages of "Africa's memories" Joab tells us about the projects, what results have been achieved and he recounts success stories and the inevitable challenges they face.
