"With the families" and Coronavirus: a column with our team's advice

As we told you a few days ago, we had to stop home visits related to the With the families project. Suspension of the house visits does not mean interrupting the relationships, but rather to invent new ways to stay close to them and support them in this difficult moment for everyone.

Fortunately, technology is coming to the rescue. Cecilia and Annachiara, the educators of the socio-educational project, have started to use video calls and chats for their virtual home visits, sending materials that could be of support to the families, even at a distance. 

This gave rise to the idea of sharing advice with everyone and creating a dynamic column, that can be enriched with new content. It will report what is done every day in the care of the parent-child relationship which will  help everyone. The new initiative’s first advice column is an interview with Dr. Marta Franci, who is part of the team of the project "With the families" and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation.  She will discuss how to tell both younger children of all ages and teenagers how and why we all need to change our daily life in this period.
