Valter Baldaccini Foundation sponsors "The city in your pocket"

A play village dedicated to many boys and girls and their families. "The city in your pocket" is a free festival which will take place on two weekends: August 27-28 29 and September 3-4-5, in the afternoon from 16.30 to 19.30. The location is the splendid setting of Spello’s Villa Fidelia, thanks to the Province of Perugia. There will be workshops, games, activities and shows for children aged 3 to 11.

The initiative, inspired by the twenty-year Roman edition organized by Arciragazzi Committee of Rome, was conceived and promoted by Comunità La Tenda Cooperativa Sociale and by Dedi-Carewith the patronage of the Municipality of Spello, and was made possible thanks to a contribution by the Valter Baldaccini Foundation and the collaboration of local associations that engage with children in various ways.

The support and implementation of projects concerning families is one of the three areas that the Foundation focuses on. The last two years have been complex for everyone and even more so for the most vulnerable sections of society, such as children. The pandemic has forced them to limit relationships, opportunities for contact with peers and hampered new educational experiences. Participating in the "City in your pocket" will be an opportunity for all of them to make up for some lost time.
