Valter Baldaccini Foundation's Golden Heart Award: here are the 2024 winners

The Golden Heart Award has become the source of great joy for the friends and volunteers of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation. It is a symbolic recognition that has enormous value for us, designed to express gratitude to people and organizations that over the year have created or promoted activities and initiatives that have particularly impressed us, in support of the Foundation's social projects. We are therefore very excited and happy to announce the three winners of the 2024 edition of the Golden Heart Award.

The Golden Heart Award to a volunteer in the Caritas soup kitchen

Three Saturdays a month, a group of volunteers from the Valter Baldaccini Foundation go to the soup kitchen of the Caritas in Foligno, to prepare hot meals for those in serious difficulty. Among them this year we would like to reward a volunteer who has worked very hard in recent months and has done many shifts, even during the hottest months, when we were all on vacation.

  • Simona Pergolesi, a tireless cook in life and in her free time. Simona is among the latest volunteers to arrive and has immediately embraced this commitment with seriousness, responsibility, and a sense of humor. She’s always ready with a joke!

The Golden Heart Award also goes to two important fundraising initiatives

We would also like to reward two organizations that have promoted important fundraising initiatives to be allocated to the Foundation's projects, combining their passions and solidarity.

  • All the members of the UMBRAGROUP football team for donating a day of vacation from their trip to Hamburg to the Valter Baldaccini Foundation. All the hours have become a donation of over €800 for the "Mutanu: the pink garden" project.
  • Eteria cultural association for the attention it always reserves for solidarity by involving, with creativity, the Valter Baldaccini Foundation in many fantasy-themed initiatives and for always generously supporting the “With the families” project.

Many thanks to everyone. The Valter Baldaccini Foundation could not exist without your commitment. Congratulations for your heart of gold!
