In the Kosovo countryside, there's a special place where hospitality becomes a concrete choice every day: the Leskoc Home, active since the immediate post-war period, managed by Caritas Umbria and now led with dedication by Rinaldo Marion and Francesca Mosca.
Here live boys, girls, and adolescents who come from families marked by poverty, loneliness, and social hardship. Eight of them live permanently at the Home, while about fifteen come every day to find a hot meal, a listening ear, support, and the chance to grow in a safe environment.
When they grow up, some choose to stay and work at the Home or in the cooperative that cultivates the land, tends the farm, and produces bread and cheese. Thus, step by step, fragility transforms into strength, hope for a shared future.
Since 2016, the Valter Baldaccini Foundation has been committed to continuing this important inclusion project. We can only continue to do so thanks to your help.
This Christmas, donate a place called Home: your contribution can change the lives of many children by offering them protection, serenity, and real opportunities. Donate now.
Share your generous gesture, create your own campaign, involve friends and family, and make your help for the children of Leskoc Home even greater.
