Finally, after a long period at a distance due to the pandemic, Joab Omoto came to visit us. He is our contact person in Kenya for the distance support educational project and for the humanitarian job training project dedicated to underage mothers of Mathare.

His arrival was also an opportunity to organize a small meeting with the donors and friends of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, which we described in a video. It was exciting to listen to his testimony, where he describes many difficulties, but also demonstrates so much courage, passion and hope.

The donors had the opportunity to ask Joab directly how the children and young people they follow at a distance are doing. This was a moment of exchange and dialogue that is really important and it enriches everyone.
