Our Scientific Committee gets a makeover

Five years after the formation of the Valter Baldaccini Foundation’ Scientific Committee, we are pleased to announce some important news. In addition to the reconfirmation of Drs Marta Franci and Mariolina Frigeri, we enthusiastically welcome a new member: with great joy, we welcome Dr Donatella Porzi.

The Foundation was motivated to choose Dr. Porzi not only because she shares the fundamental values of the Foundation, but also because of her bond of friendship respect that united her with Valter Baldaccini. Her career in the political field has always been guided by a fervent social commitment. Currently, she represents Umbria in the Regional Council and in Europe she is a member of the Sedec Commission of the Committee of the Regions, which is dedicated to topics such as social policy, education, employment, research, and culture.

We are certain that her contribution will significantly enrich the Foundation’s Scientific Committee, which actively works on the design and implementation of its solidarity projects. In fact, in recent years it was Drs Marta Franci and Mariolina Frigeri who conceived and gave continuity to the initiative with "With the families", a project which helps families in difficulty in our area.
