On Giving Tuesday vote for the mothers of Mathare

On Giving Tuesday this year we have accepted a really important challenge: to collect lots of votes for the socio-educational project dedicated to the young mothers of Mathare.

To win we need your support. How? Just a click!

  • Go to the page dedicated to the project on the Giving Tuesday portal
  • Click on "Rate the project"
  • Enter your email address
  • Accept the privacy conditions and the regulations and click on Vote
  • Confirm your vote using the link that will arrive in your email box after a few minutes (check spam too!)

Each vote is essential to win the prize money that will be destined for the mothers of the slum of Mathare and their children. And that's not all: the greater our numbers, the better. Invite your friends to vote for the project by taking a creative photo showing the "Vote for Mathare" invitation. You can make a drawing, a small sketch or a simple colored note. Be imaginative! Publish it on your social networks by tagging us, we will be happy to share the most beautiful ones again!

What is GivingTuesday?

Giving Tuesday is the largest world event dedicated to generosity and solidarity involving more than 75 countries. In 2012, the 92Y Street Foundation and the United Nations first conceived a day in which thousands of people could donate, collaborate and commit themselves to building a more just and more supportive world. Symbolically they chose the Tuesday following Black Friday, thus establishing Giving Tuesday which this year will be celebrated on November 30th.

Only together can we win this challenge! Voting is already open and will last until January 6, 2022. Vote now for the mothers of Mathare.
