Mother Sara's story

Since she became Lucrezia's mother, Sara’s life has gotten complicated. The days became dark and monotonous, getting up to prepare milk for the baby and changing her diaper became increasingly tiring. Over time, Sara began to think she was an inadequate mother.

Sara suffers from severe depression which seems impossible because she has always been a determined and combative woman in her life. Like when she fell in love with Takiyou, a young boy from Mali a few years ago. It wasn't easy to make their families understand that two different cultures and religions could learn to live together with respect for each other, yet together they won this battle and today, despite these difficult times, their little girl Lucrezia is their great joy.

Sara needs help, support that only you can give her. In fact, thanks to you, Sara will be able to join "With the families", one of the projects for families in difficulty in the area. Thanks to you, Sara will receive a weekly visit from Lucia, one of our educators, who will support and help her face this complex moment, making the most of her resources to support little Lucrezia.
