Infiorata of Cannara 2019

This year we again participated in the Infiorata of Cannara,  together with UMBRAGROUP and UMBRACral. This is an event that Valter Baldacinni cared deeply about. 

With friends, family, and colleagues, we had enough petals to make two splendid flower carpets between Saturday night and Sunday morning for the feast of Corpus Domini. The designs were inspired by the Creation and Original Sin.

This year the drawings were made by artists Raffaella Ballerini, who designed the adult carpet in Piazza IV November, and Francesca Taglietti, who designed the children’s carpet in Via del Convitto. 

Many thanks to the artists, to the people who organized the event, and to all the flower makers, young and old, who spent a joyful, convivial evening with us.
