Docufilm “Valter Baldaccini, life as an example” previewed at the Politeama Clarici in Foligno

On Friday 9 May 2025, “Valter Baldaccini, life as an example” was screened for the first time, the docufilm that tells the story of  Valter Baldaccini.

The event was held in the red room of the Politeama Clarici in Foligno, which for the occasion was packed with people who met Valter, but also with curious people who had never met him and who came to discover the reason why he is so unique.

“Since its inception, the Foundation has had a dual objective: to give continuity to the solidarity projects that my father started for the most disadvantaged people and to keep alive the memory of his life testimony” - commented the President of the Foundation, at the opening of the evening. A commitment that we have carried forward in recent years through some publications that concern him and that today, on our tenth anniversary, we are returning through the power of images that portray places that were important to him and the memory of some people who we considered significant in bringing out his uniqueness”.

A choral story to narrate an exemplary life

The docufilm is a choral story of friends, family, people who worked with him in Italy and around the world; people who shared his passion for football, the attention to others, and the importance of faith. An emotional narration directed by Loretta Bonamente who said how “from the many hours spent together with those who shared experiences, anecdotes and part of their lives with Valter, the image of an enlightened entrepreneur emerges, but even before that of a man of his word, upright, with an uncommon humanity, humility, faith and sense of justice”.

“Valter Baldaccini, life as an example” was produced by Strani Rumori Studio Multimedia and made possible thanks to the contribution of UMBRAGROUP, which we would like to thank for having been alongside the Foundation in this important project. “Having contributed as UMBRAGROUP to this project represents for us a way to make Valter’s story timeless and renews our commitment alongside the Foundation that bears his name – commented Reno Ortolani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UMBRAGROUP and one of the voices in the film – Valter Baldaccini was a man of great integrity and humanity, whose values and principles have inspired and continue to inspire the work of our Group, even those who did not have the privilege of knowing him. This documentary, which tells his private and professional life to a wider audience, is a tribute to Valter the man at the service of the community. The hope is that this success story can inspire many other entrepreneurs in their way of doing business without neglecting the well-being of the community”.
