Collection of basic necessities for Ukraine

"Mykhaylo is one of our Ukrainian volunteers, ready to leave bringing a load of aid to the border Polish border where family and friends are waiting for him. He will then redistribute them among the families who are unable to leave the country or who are fleeing" .

Thus was born the collection of basic necessities in response to the emergency in Ukraine organized by the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, resulting from a phone call from our volunteer Luis. He is also part of the Volunteers Group of the Foligno Civil Protection, promoting and coordinating the initiative that in recent days has involved many groups in our territory.

In three days of collection we managed to pack one hundred boxes full of drugs, bandages, plasters, gauze, disinfectants, long-life food, diapers and baby food and sanitary napkins that we hope will be useful to many families forced to face this terrible war.

Our thanks go to Luis and to all the volunteers who in recent days have made themselves available to sort and box the collected material and to all the people who have welcomed with sensitivity, emotion and enthusiasm this initiative of solidarity.
