A screening with a sea view: the documentary film dedicated to Valter Baldaccini in Albanella

"I met Valter in February 1982. I own a company in Albanella that produces diamond tools, and our collaboration began there. In 2008, Valter began to think about a research center. He said that he believed the best ideas could come from the inspiration that the sea, that Capri, could give to these young engineers."

These are some of the words of Edoardo Vito in the documentary film "Valter Baldaccini, Life as an Example".

Edoardo Vito, CEO of EMS and a dear friend of Valter Baldaccini, is one of the voices that recounts Valter's passion for the sea, and his working relationships, which often turned into true and profound friendships.

The screening of the documentary film in Albanella: a tribute to Valter

Edoardo Vito, along with his family and the EMS company, strongly supported one of the screenings of the documentary film in Albanella, the small town near Salerno where Valter left his mark by establishing a research center, in collaboration with Edoardo.

"My father had a very strong bond with this land, loving its beauty and appreciating the people - our President Beatrice Baldaccini recalled during the evening. It is a source of great pride for me and my family, but also for the Foundation and UMBRAGROUP, that the municipal administration, together with Mayor Giuseppe Capezzuto, awarded honorary citizenship to my father. I still remember it as a highly attended and moving ceremony".

Valter's bond with Albanella and honorary citizenship

In 2012, the Municipality of Albanella, together with the then Mayor, Dr. Giuseppe Capezzuto, awarded honorary citizenship to Valter Baldaccini. This gesture underscored the significant impact Valter's initiative had on the local area and on the development of the Albanella community.

The screening, private and by invitation only, was held on Saturday, September 27th in the EMS garden, in the presence of the institutions and Valter's many friends. This area.

Thanks to the Vito family and EMS for organizing this emotional and powerful moment dedicated to Valter.
