A collection of necessities for the earthquake victims of Turkey

In recent weeks we have monitored the devastating situation generated by the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria between the nights of February 5th and 6th. This earthquake caused the death of over 46,000 people.

We immediately activated our channels to try to understand how to provide help to the earthquake victims and we chose to join the initiative promoted by Associazione Amici di Spello. Through its direct contact with the Turkish Embassy in Rome and Turkish Airlines it will guarantee the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Turkish population. In two days we collected and were able to prepare many aid boxes which include:

• blankets and quilts,
• canned food ready to be consumed,
• sanitizing wipes,
• diapers, baby food and powdered milk for the little ones.

Unfortunately, it is extremely complicated to get aid to Syria where a civil war has been going on for twelve years. The country is divided between the regime of President Bashar al Assad and the rebels, but we are happy to support at least the Turkish population in difficulty.
