The "With the Families" project: thanks to donors, concrete help for fragile families

Have you ever thought about how concrete support can change the lives of fragile families?

Thanks to donors, the ‘With Families’ project is growing to support even more mothers, fathers, and children in difficulty. Last Christmas we told you about the Valter Baldaccini Foundation’s desire to make the “With the families” social project even bigger. In 2024, in fact, we received requests for help to which we were unable to respond, but today, thanks to the support of many donors, that dream is becoming reality.

A social project that has given concrete help to fifteen fragile families

A few weeks ago, a new educator, Lucia Castellani, joined the project’s multidisciplinary team. She will support Annachiara Papa and Lucia Cecconi in home visits to the families involved in the project. The entry of a new professional will allow us to increase the number of families supported and, therefore; guarantee 15 families from Foligno and the surrounding towns to join the project every year.

The goal of the “With families” project is to guarantee all newborns the best possible start, supporting parenthood. Becoming parents is not easy and when it happens to mothers and fathers who are facing difficulties, everything becomes even more complicated.

In recent years we have met mothers who suffered from postpartum depression, difficult family cases marked by addictions and violence, but also families for whom the birth of a child was the breakdown of a family balance that needed to be rebuilt, but that was not possible to face alone.

Thanks to the support of donors and some companies the project to support families in difficulty “With the families” will become increasingly effective and will change the lives of many mothers, fathers, boys, and girls in Foligno and our territory. Donate now to give continuity to this dream.
