A year with ANT supporting the families of those who are unwell

Another year has passed for the social project conceived together with ANT Foundation in Umbria. The program allows families to stay close to those who are suffering from a tumor or the loss of a loved one.

Thanks to the donations received, we have been able to provide concrete help over the last year: 

• offered psychological support interviews to 34 cancer patients and their families, to deal with the different stages of the disease;
   
• continued offering the psychological help desk "Beyond the pain of loss" which allows you to have free interviews dealing with the mourning process with the psychologist Dr. Giacomo Ercolani. Over the last year, 20 people have requested access to the service, for a total of 115 interviews. Those who requested the interviews are, for the most part women, with very different backgrounds; for some of them a missing loved one died due to a long illness, while for others death came suddenly due to illness, COVID, an accident or suicide.For everyone, having the opportunity to access a free psychological support service was a truly precious and fundamental resource to overcome such a delicate moment. It was so important because, for some of them, the journey has not yet ended.
