Our team's recommendations for activities with children

A new appointment with the column "Advise from With the families's team", born after the project's educators With the families had to stop the weekly home visits that  support parents during the fragile
moment of a child's birth.

Unfortunately, due to this disruptive period we are experiencing, seeing each other in person is not possible. But this did not prevent our educators from being present and available through the tools that technology makes available to us, such as chat and video calls.

Cecilia and Annachiara started to gather advice and ideas from the whole multidisciplinary team to share with families, which we subsequently decided to make available to everyone. The first suggestions offered to parents focused on how to explain to your children the changes that we are facing in this period. In the last few days our team focused on finding activities for spending time together in these long days when we are forced to stay home.

Two important reports from our area:

• La Gazzetta di Foligno has started collecting stories, free books, shows and workshops designed for the youngest and curated by artists, illustrators, educators and actors. They are in a section within their site.
   
• The Department of childcare services of Foligno is making a completely free on-line platform, which is full of many creative ideas for spending time with your children. To access it, simply send an email to: nidi@comune.foligno.pg.it.

The children of the "With families" project are already at work and are sending us beautiful photographs with their creations. And what are you waiting for?
