Janet's story

Janet is a very strong woman, born in Kenya and has become a very young mother. She can read and write because as a child she went to school for a few years, but she was forced to abandon the idea of continuing to study to take care of her family and her newborn child.

Thanks to the Mutanu humanitarian project: the pink vegetable garden, Janet now has a job: together with twenty other women she grows vegetables which she then sells in the market. This is an occupation that means autonomy, redemption, dignity and independence for all of these women and their families. Furthermore, just before the pandemic started, together with all her companions, she attended a training course dedicated to agriculture, which we hope will be able to start again as soon as possible.

Mutanu is an educational and job placement project made possible thanks to the care and passion of Sister Federica, a courageous and tenacious doctor who has lived and worked in Kenya for many years. There is also your support.

Thanks to you we can give Janet and many women a precious opportunity to work and be independent.

Let's build a company together that looks to the future with confidence.
