The “Family and work” project is the focus of the new issue of “From the roots”
The new issue "From the Roots" is online, the Valter Baldaccini Foundation’s periodical dedicated to in-depth analysis of solidarity projects and the stories of the protagonists.
In this Christmas edition we delve into the socio-work inclusion project "Family and work" that we carry out together with the Diocesan Caritas of Foligno. Active since 2017, this project has allowed thirty men and women in conditions of fragility and social hardship to access a job grant, a temporary job placement path which, for some, has transformed into long-term employment.
The director of Caritas, Mauro Masciotti, was interviewed for these pages and shares the profound meaning of restoring dignity to people through work. You will also hear Cristina’s the story, one of the beneficiaries of this year's project.
