Conference “The Library for Everyone: Inbooks as an instrument of inclusion”

Together with the Foligno Children’s Library and the Foligno Kiwanis Club, we are pleased to invite you to the conference “The Library for Everyone: Inbooks as an instrument of inclusion”. It will be an another opportunity to reiterate the importance of in-books, special books with texts translated into symbols that are designed to make reading accessible to everyone.
 
The date is Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm in the main Conference Room of Palazzo Trinci in Foligno

Speakers: Maria Frigeri, referring pediatrician for the Reading Network 0-6, Social Zone no. 8 –Umbria; Maria Antonella Costantino, Director of U.O Neuropsychiatry of Infancy and Adolescence, IRCCS Policlinico of Milan – Incremental Center for Augmentative Communicaiton; Antonio Bianchi, Engineer at the Sovairale Center for Augmentative Communication; Silvia D’Ambrosio, Librarian at the Brugherio Civic Library and In-book Network Library referent; Patrizia Ercolani, Infatile Neuropsychiatry and Evolutionary Age Psychologist, USL Umbria 2; Jean Luc Umbero Bertoni, publisher; Antonella Pinna, Director of the Umbria Region Museum Service, Archives, and Libraries; Giovanni Giovannini, Manager of the Umbria Region Prevention Service.

The event will take place during the celebrations of the International Day of the Rights of the Child and of the National “Born to Read” Week

For the Foundation, this conference is another important piece of the project Inbook: books that includes we are supporting this year.
