At Christmas choose to be the lucky star for many people in difficulty

Valentina is a girl with a complex history. She grew up in the Lescok House, in Kosovo, because her very poor family could not take care of her. In the last year, thanks to the training and work placement project, Valentina had access to a financial grant and started working in the Lescok house which took her in when she was just a child. The internship is about to end and only thanks to a lucky star will Valentina be able to continue her path to redemption.

Mother Giada and little Mattia live in a small village in Umbria. Their family's situation is like that of many of the parents in the "With the families" project. Giada has a very busy husband who works, and she has chosen to stay at home to look after her son. But Giada feels dissatisfied, unsuitable, insecure. She feels very fragile and fears passing on her discomfort to Mattia too. Only thanks to a lucky star will Giada and little Mattia be able to become part of the project and be supported by our educators who will restore Giada's confidence and guarantee Mattia the best possible start.

Lorna, in Kenya, just a girl, was forced to drop out of school when she became pregnant. Like the other young people in the socio-educational project dedicated to the mothers of Mathare, one of Nairobi's slums, Lorna has always lived in marginalized conditions of extreme poverty. It’s a daily life where prostitution, violence, loneliness, and abandonment are common and where imagining a different future seems impossible. Today Lorna has become Jadel's mother and only thanks to a lucky star will she be able to receive help and learn a trade.
