Sport and solidarity: the 2nd Valter Baldaccini Memorial

On Sunday, October 13th the SIR Safety Umbria Volley Perugia took to the court for the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, challenging the Consar Ravenna, for the 2nd Valter Baldaccini Memorial.

This year the event was dedicated to the Family and Work Project. We have been working together with Caritas Diocesana of Foligno for two years and this has already allowed twenty people in difficulty to access a work grant, or have redemption opportunities.

During the evening, thanks to all the fans and spectators who filled the stands of the Pala Barton, almost € 5,000 were collected, which will enable new work grants to be activated for those who need them most.

The Memorial is a beautiful testimony of how sport and solidarity can unite and generate concrete actions for those who, in our territory, need them the most. And it was even better because this year it was the Perugia team that was victorious!
